CHB three month rule

Is a returning UK national who starts working on return able to claim CHB before the end of three months being here, just like an EEA national who is working.

See p. 1536 of CPAG Benefits and Tax Credits Handbook 2017/18 under Child benefit and child tax credit third bullet point. A UK National is not an EEA national for benefits purposes so third bullet point would be relevant and don’t have to have been in GB/UK for three months if you are a worker/self-employed.
