UC, Windrush and the EU (sort of)
Client is a Polish national refused UC following a typically poor ‘right to reside’ decision (clearly has retained worker status following redundancy).
She reports that the FSUC helpline adviser told her the decision is because Poland is not in the EU and she is an illegal immigrant and can’t claim benefits.
There are no words!
