The first ever qualification in providing legal advice to young people has been designed by Youth Access with partners.

The Unit ‘Providing initial advice to young people on their rights under the law’ is now included in the Vulnerable Young People qualifications awarded by ABC, a vocational awarding body. These qualifications were reviewed at the beginning of this year when OFQUAL approved the addition of the unit. It is listed as an optional unit in 4 different qualifications: Level 3 Certificate and Award and Level 4 Certificate and Award.
