Cut-off dates after which no new tax credit claims can be made
Responding to a written question the Treasury have confirmed that, subject to change in the UC migration schedule -
- generally no new tax credit claims can be made after 31 December 2018
- for those with 2+ children no new tax credit claims can be made after 31 January 2019
So families with 2+ children making new claims will have to claim UC from 1 February 2019…
