Any jobs going in live service areas? - UC is hurting my head!
If old style ESA has ended due to time limiting, on credits only and then reassessed and placed in the support group, is it right that it is not a new claim but the ESA claim going back into payment and as one benefit can have any income-related ESA top-up?  Therefore not a new ESA claim, abolishing i-r ESA and forcing UC claim in full service?

You’re right.

Of course the institutional position that IRESA and CESA are separate benefits is likely to complicate that; no matter how many times teh UT tell them otherwise.

I’d just request an ESA3.
