Carer’s allowance & online claims. Notifying and requesting information from the cared for person?
Has anybody assisted with an online Carer’s Allowance claim?
Just wondering what kind of information is sent to the person being cared for?
Are they asked to confirm they are being cared for?
If they receive SDP, are they given a chance to agree/refuse?
The cared for person gets a letter, it in effect states such and such has claimed carer’s allowance and states they care for you 35 hours per week. If you disagree with this please contact us….. Something to that effect.
