The Office for Civil Society has announced the names of the organisations and partnerships that it intends to work with as strategic partners until 2014, when this initiative will be phased out. The successful bidders are:

* Acevo in partnership with Euclid Network and New Philanthropy Capital £415,000
* Community Foundation Network in partnership with Association of Charitable Foundations £330,000
* Institute of Fundraising £275,000
* Locality £496,570
* Navca £345,070
* NCVO £500,000
* Social Entrepreneurship Partnership £315,000
* Social Enterprise Coalition in partnership with Co-operatives UK £499,199
* Volunteering England £500,000.

Nick Hurd, the Minister for Civil Society, said: “We have had to reduce the number of strategic partners, not least to focus resource on front-line services. However, this is a good mix of partners that will represent the sector well.” Previously, there were 42 organisations that were funded through this programme.
