Afternoon all,

Just wondering if anybody has any recent experience where an application for a supersession of the WRAG to SG has meant a significant delay in the client being offered a WCA appointment?
Specifically for my client - we applied for a supersession just before the ESA payments stopped after client had reached the 365 day limit for CB under the WRAG. He is still considered as having LCW. Can’t get IR due to other household income. Completed the ESA50 at the start of August & client has not received a WCA appointment as yet. Just spoke to ESA who implied that because it is a deterioration in health reported by the client, as opposed to ESA requesting a review, it will take up to 6m to get them a WCA. The adviser also unhelpfully commented that the client ‘decided to apply for the SG because their money was going to stop’ (& not because their health had deteriorated).

Wondering if supersessions that would be advantageous to the client are being put to the back of the queue?!

Apologies if this is an ongoing topic - I couldn’t find a thread!
