disability reduction on council tax

hoping someone knows the answer to this off hand.

single client. band A property so already gets 25% single person discount.  needs to use wheelchair indoors so may get disability reduction.  band cant be reduced as already in the lowest.  would be 25% usually awarded to a band A be on top of the single person discount?

Band A properties have the bill reduced by one sixth if a disability reduction is awarded.  I think the 25% reduction single person discount is then applied.

your right enough its 1/6.  had it in my head it was 25%.  thats what i get for not checking.  would still have raised the query re if that was on top i suppose.
