Further to this thread, although it should make my life a lot easier a few of my clients that are due an SDP are being refused due to historical information on CIS.

A lot of my clients have been on ESA/IS for years and changes have not been updated; a grown up child might be claiming from another address but the parent’s records aren’t being updated and it seems quite widespread. That might be ok from a JCP, Social Security Admin Act, duty to disclose perspective but I doubt it fits very well with DWP’s duties under the Data Protection Act and it’s a pain so I’d like to fix it.

I am minded to speak to the ICO but wondered what peoples’ thoughts were. Possibly an issue to raise at Stakeholders?

and… yes…my life is wall to wall PIP appeals at the moment! :~
