I have a couple where husband started receiving SRP in February when he reached 65.  Wife gets HR Care and Mobility components of DLA and does not reach qualifying age of PC until March 2022.  HB claim is in her name so should they still be entitled to the Disability Premium for HB or do they lose this because higher Applicable Amount.

p.236 CPAG 2017/18, if you or your partner have reached the qualifying age for PC and are not getting IS, JSA-IB, ESA-IR or UC, your housing benefit can only include the family, disabled child, enhanced disability for a child, severe disability and carer’s premiums. In these circumstances, your HB cannot include a disability premium.
