Online DS1500 - DWP guidance updated

We only have one hospital in our area on the NHS mail service so I can’t see it being used very often as it would mean huge changes for the IT department to action

and unfortunately it’s only in England at the moment Annie - hopefully it will improve…

I thought it sounded such a good idea however when I told our Macmillan worker (who spends her life sending in DS1500s) she was concerned as in her experience medical profs generally don’t include NINO. This means they often get lost in the system when posted directly by hospital or GP,  so unless NINO is a mandatory field it could be a problem.
