see my thread http://www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/viewthread/10807/ and others on the subject of DWP post delays.

I was advised today that there is a particular issue with MRs (and other types of post) because, apparently, specified forms/ post such as a med cert or IS10 is given a code when it is scanned which allocates it for appropriate action.

But as an MR is not made on a specified form it is placed in the “white mail unspecified” box to await it being looked at and actioned once it reached the ‘top of the pile’.

You would have thought by now MRs would have a specific code which meant they are then forwarded to the appropriate Dispute Resolution Team for immediate action?

Another case of ‘computer says - all to difficult’?
