Bereavement and benefit top up
Case where wife gets CA paid - husband dies - she now gets CA paid for 8 weeks topped up by Bereavement Allowance before reverting to full BA.
Wife on PIP enhanced and entitled to SDP. Could claim IS for the 8 weeks or due to own health issues consider going straight in and claim ESA IR (was previously on husbands ESA IR claim so starting from scratch)? Anyone think of any issues?
