UC/Pre-settled status/ Family member query
Hi
Can anyone help with this, I’m in a pickle.
Client and her husband - both hold Italian passports, have pre-settled status, came to UK in December 2018. He is working, she has given up work to care for her mother and mother-in-law.
Her parents - both hold Indian passports , have pre-settled status, came to the UK in November 2020.
Query is - can the parents claim UC on the basis of being family members of the spouse of a worker? I’ve changed my mind about this 20 times and would welcome any input.

Isn’t it Reg 7(1)(c) - “dependent direct relatives in A’s ascending line, or in that of A’s spouse or civil partner”?
So it is, sorry mixing up my generations there!
