Logging In
Is anyone else aware of claimants having issues getting the codes by text so that they can log in to their UC account? I’ve had a couple of people today - one who took 2 attempts to get a code and 1 who didn’t get a code after 3 attempts.
We sometimes have this problem on the landlord portal but not very often, and it doesn’t persist. I haven’t actually come across it with the claimant login, but it would make sense for them to be coming from the same place so the same issues might come up.
I don’t think its too unusual for two-factor authentication systems to have these sorts of issues from time to time. Server gets overloaded from high traffic or whatever = codes getting delayed = users getting frustrated and making repeat requests for codes, further increasing the demands on the server. Normally gets resolved within an hour or two.
