My client has recently been assessed, on UC, as having LCWRAG and she has had two payments into her bank (i) states UC 1,259.81 and (ii)  “DWP DP JSA MID” total being 1,367.68.

Does anyone know what DWP DP JSA MID is?

She has never claimed or been paid JSA? Our client is worried that she has been overpaid, but we are not sure what that payment means?

Client asked on her journal, 3 days ago and no response.

Many thanks.

The payment references come up as all kinds of things with little rhyme or reason.

The amount of money that your client has received is exactly four months of LCWRAE so that is probably your answer.

Is it just the regular UC monthly payment?

Does £1275 then correspond to the monthly amount with a LCWRA included (not knowing what the relevant LHA is)?

Has PIP been applied for to get her out of shared accommodation rate?

Vonny,

Yes, she won her appeal on 02-12-20 - that is when she approached us, for help with the appeal, and we advised her to also ask for WCA to be carried out. So now you say that I wonder if this is the UC arrears of difference between shared and one room rate.

Will update when UC come back to the client

It was the uprate in the HCE from shared to one room rate an additional £79.69 for 4 months - when she moved to her current add - thanks again.
