Can, or does anyone have any knowledge of the above? I have a client who says that this was paid as an income support claim as a type of protection because she is a Carer.

She is saying that it gives her protection for mortgage interest and entitlement to CTS. Apparently it is paid at a rate of 10 pence per week, but paid every 13 weeks.

I am hoping to be enlightened!

Many thanks

It sounds like she’s referring to the rules for what happens if someone has entitlement to between 10p and £1 per week income support. It is paid 13-weekly and would passport to council tax support. See page 245 CPAG Welfare Rights Handbook.
