GPC and Personal Injury lump sum
Hi,
Am I right in thinking that personal injury compensation payments are disregarded indefinitely for GPC claimants and their partners or is it the usual 52 weeks?

Personal injury payment to you or your partner are disregarded, whether or not it is placed in a trust and no deemed or actual income are taken into account. If the payment was to your partner and they die, it is no longer disregarded.
