Welcome to ‘The Social’ ... a new area of the rightsnet forum - initially launched in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak - designed to support advisers, many of whom are now working at home or apart from colleagues.

We hope that it might play a part in helping us all to steer a course through the next few weeks and months ... and provide more of a social, less work-focused* space to catch up with like-minded members of the rightsnet/access to justice community ...

(Do spread the word to colleagues who may not already have a rightsnet account).

Cheers - Shawn

* of course we also have our Coronavirus (COVID-19) forum for casework support related to the outbreak.

When I read the tagline “Welcome to ‘The Social’” my first thought was that you were about to come down with a touch of the Colin Cromptons.

Does ‘social’ mean I have to keep 2 metres from the keyboard?

You’ve still got a keyboard? How quaint :)

Couldn’t find anywhere else so thought I’d pop on here to say ‘Hi’.

While my focus is UC, I look forward to discussing all things benefit-related with you.
