WCA and dyslexia

I’m representing a client in his 50’s who has considerable difficulties with reading and writing. He has not been screened, tested or diagnosed, but may have dyslexia or something with similar symptoms. He has no problem seeing letters, he just struggles to see/read words or sentences. (No brain damage, learning difficulties, language issues)

I haven’t found anything recent, so I suspect that dyslexia and the like are still not regarded as a “sensory impairment” under activity 7 - Understanding communication.

Have I got this right?

Any suggestions of anything that might help?

I was watching the gadget show the other day and they had a gadget that used a pulsing light to help with dyslexia on the grounds that it can be caused by vision problems
