Times Educational Supplement reporting that free school meals vouchers will be made available over Easter holidays - apparently confirmed by Michael Gove in press conference on Saturday.

Also Scotland announcing food fund and Northern Ireland announcing food parcels service

Food charity Sustain and the Good Law Project have called on the government to fund the national school meals voucher scheme over the summer period -

‘...letter from lawyers acting on behalf of Sustain and Good Law Project to the Secretary of State for Education seeks urgent clarification about what action the Government will take to address holiday hunger throughout the summer months. The letter gives the Government seven days to respond before the formal litigation process will commence.’

(the Welsh Government has already committed to funding free school meals over the summer).
