Does anyone have any current details for emailing or phoning the benefit fraud team?  I need to speak to them about a case where a claimant has had UC claimed fraudulently in her name but the number on gov.uk isn’t taking calls and I’m not actually making a report of fraud.

I thought I had it sussed when a helpline adviser offered to put me through but they just put me onto the line that isn’t taking calls.

Hi Mairi,

I would have thought you could get a response if you can get the contact details for your local DWP Partnership Manager (especially email, at the moment) and ask them to intervene and get the Fraud Team to contact you. Currently, I have found this the most effective method of getting action on problem cases.

Good luck and stay safe

Thanks Chris - I’ll give them a try.  I’m practically on first name terms with them at the moment…....
