DLA to PIP claims for 16yos

Apologies if it’s been resolved in another thread- but I’m not sure there’s anything certain about this?

Although I gather that DLA and PIP is being extended for 6 months if an award review is due, do we know what is happening for PIP claims for 16 yos?

Today- I rang the DLA number first 0800 121 4600. For this age group, it tells you to contact the PIP number.
(Also, I didn’t hear anything about DLA renewals on the message on 0800 121 4600).
I rang the PIP number 0800 121 4433 and there’s nothing there about continuing to get DLA if you’re a 16yo and have been sent a PIP claim form.
I rang the PIP claims number on 0800 917 2222, and it says nothing on there about DLA being extended.

Does anyone have any definite news or is just ‘business as usual’?

Ah yes, that’s what I’d seen, but when you follow the thread, the Posts numbered 25-30 show that they still aren’t sure.

Also- I haven’t heard that the draft script is being used.
