Client, part time, employed, has to self isolate due to health risk.  She does not earn enough to qualify for SSP under normal SSP lower earnings limit rules.  It is unclear to me from the sources I have checked (gov.uk and advisernet) whether the lower earnings limit still applies in this situation.  The client’s employer has told her she will qualify for SSP.  Please can someone clear this up for me?  Many thanks.

Think I’ve answered my own question now.  Best wishes to all and thanks for a brilliant resource.

I know you have found the answer - but what was it?  I wasn’t aware of any relaxation of the Lower Earnings Limit rule Thanks Ruth
