DWP says -

This Toolkit is a resource to support awareness and understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions and providing practical guidance for supporting people who have neurodiverse conditions into employment.

This site also contains useful resources and additional local support contacts and organisations.

Does it also have practical guidance for supporting people who have neurodiverse conditions with benefit claims/assessments/appeals?

Doesn’t look like it - just focussed on employment as far as I can see

Will read in detail this next week but it’s been raised at our local Universal Credit accessibility meeting and the gaps in understanding appear significant e.g. the idea you can ask for a quiet room. Who is going to ask for that quiet room and at what point? It certainly isn’t going to be when the person steps over the JCP threshold for the first time.
