New universal credit web tool
Hi everyone ... just to share with you that we just launched a new universal credit web tool at the Nawra meeting in Leeds ....
... here we go: https://ucinfo.net
Cheers - Shawn
“You have tried to access a web page which is in violation of your internet usage policy.
URL: ucinfo.net/
Category: Other Adult Materials”
Well this seems interesting
Yup. Showing as ‘Pornography’ for us.
Working alright down here Shawn. Looks good too.
Site blocked by Glasgow City Council.
Working fine here. Thanks folks, looks like a useful tool.
Will try from home to see if it works there.
Thanks for letting us know- we’ll look into why its being blocked for some of you.
It works for us and looks really good, thank you.
Will there be a widget (?) so that I can link it on our website alongside the pipinfo and wcainfo ones?

I got the same message as this
Only people in Scotland cannot see it so far. Coincidence?

Nah; I’m blocked as well but it’s likely our local settings rather than a problem with the site.
Fortunately our firewall doesn’t think it’s porn.

No issue here. Works fine on both wifi and mobile.
Cheers all ..... though sorry to those of you who are having a problem with the site ...
... if you know or could find out which blacklist system your org uses and let me know, we’ll look to get it sorted ... https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/contact

There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.

We’re getting onto it without any problems but a colleague of mine who is co-locating in the Jobcentre and using their guest wi fi cant get in at all saying that ‘your organisation is blocking it’, which it most certainly isn’t, it must be the Jobcentres Wifi that has the block on.
Is this part of a plot to make sure that no one can see the site in case they want to challenge DWP, I think we should be told!
I can’t either
the screen saying it is blocked due to adult materials says it is ‘fortiguard’
but I have also logged the problem with our IT, so that might give further info
Yes, it’s being blacklisted by some systems (apparently back in 2004, the name was being used by an, ahem, non-charitable endeavour!!) ...

Ps .. we’ve taken the site down temporarily while we get it sorted ....
.. thanks for your patience ... cheers Shawn
Yay .... relaunching next week!
Any sign of web tool yet?

We’re just finishing off the paint job and reattaching the wheels .... won’t be long now ...
Here we go ..... now at:
has the previous myth busting website, now gone?

Hi David ... yes, I’m afraid so ... our funding for the work ended in Autumn 2019, and so we’ve now decided to concentrate our energies on this new, more adviser-focused content.
Hopefully the new content also sits more neatly with our existing pipinfo.net and wcainfo.net tools ...
Cheers - Shawn

... and now with added widget ...
