Has anyone had any success in withdrawing a UC claim?

Requested a withdrawal today quoting Reg 31.  This client was not on legacy benefits - the reason for the withdrawal is the client became aware of some additional holiday pay from her employer arriving within a few days.  She wants to try to cancel and reapply after pay date.  Claim was made today.  I have assumed that a withdrawal is the same as an ineligible claimant and it’s as if the first claim was never made.

Judge Jacobs says that a withdrawal does not have retrospective effect - see paragraph 11 here.

However, this shouldn’t affect your situation, as you should be fine even without it being retrospective.
