Retirement pension from Bulgaria

I’m helping a lady who was born in Bulgaria, she has recently separated from her husband and I was trying to do a pension credit claim. She previously worked in Bulgaria for over 20 years before coming to the UK to work for the NHS. The Pension service have asked her to find out if she has any entitlement to retirement pension from Bulgaria, before they can process her claim.
Can someone point me in the direction of who to contact for this please.

If you click through to this link and click on ‘Work and Retirement’, you should find the contact details, can’t post them due to the Bulgarian characters in the address.

No idea Martin but as colleague has suggested, why aren’t the Pension Service directing their enquiry to their very own International Pension Centre anyway?

As always the charities are left to pick up the mess they leave behind.
