Landlord notification of request for APA
Is there a legal obligation for a social landlord to notify the tenant when they apply for an APA to cover arrears payments?
No legal requirement, and an APA can be applied by informing the DWP that the tenant has not been informed. However the landlord maybe under contract with the DWP via the Landlord Portal to do more.
