Overturned HRT decisions & UC - 

Hello,

Client initially applied for UC, was found to have NRPF. Decision changed on reconsideration.
Between applying for UC and MR, client tried to make a new claim using the little green button on the journal to submit documents on journal. DO NOT USE THIS.

Doing this submits a new claim using same details and terribly confuses the system.
DWP had to call their IT support to manually close her 2nd claim before they could reopen the original and to back date it to original date of claim.

It took longer to do this than it did to change their original decision.
So, hopefully this helps someone else avoid this delay

OMG, such a good timing! Had a client who was asking if she could do just that.
Million pounds system that gets so easily confused, isn’t that great….
