My client went to China in November 2008 with the intention of residing there permanently. He came back in February 2010 due to financial difficulties. Before he went he had an indefinite DLA award. He is aged 71.
Is it correct that DLA entitlement ends rather than being suspended when someone goes abroad permanently?
If so I think I will have to claim AA with him when he has been back for 26 weeks at the beginning of August.
