Attendanace Allowance and going aboard.

I’m helping a gentleman who was born in Egypt but has lived in the UK for over 30 years and he holds a British passport, with an AA claim. My query regards to him going back to Egypt at least twice per year and he normally stays for about 6 to 8 weeks. One of the qualifying question is about him living the UK for 2 out of 3 years and he is OK with this one, but the other question asks about “have you been aboard for more than 4 weeks this year”
Will this effect his claim, it does not mention this question in the notes.

Sec.6.2.1 of our AA factsheet explains:

”Temporary absence abroad

AA can be paid for the first 13 weeks of a temporary absence abroad, if your overall period of absence is not expected to be more than 52 weeks. You can be paid up to 26 weeks if your absence is not expected to exceed 52 weeks and you are going abroad to be treated for an illness or disability that began before you left the country and the DWP agrees to pay you for longer.
