Does anyone know whether RTI conveys info on earnings only or other things HMRC might know like tax rebates or other taxed income (rents for example)?

Thanks

It’s just private pensions and earnings (As an employee), the accuracy of the information is another matter though.

I have a case where clients occ pen is reported through RTI but UC are taking it into account as earnings. Not clear if this is due to the way employer / pension provider reports to RTI, issue with RTI/HMRC or how UC have interpreted the RTI info.

Would this not be more favourable? If they are taking it into account as earnings they are using less of the income than they should? Will be a problem in the future when they cotton on to the mistake, it’s probably how they have interpreted the RTI data.
