partner moving into nursing home

Hi guys

Married couple who own their home and 1 has to go into a Nursing home.

If the spouse remains in the marital home is it disregarded for savings/capitol as they both have to claim separately.

ignored as capital for MTB’s -CPAG 2018/19 page 511 (assuming couple both of SPA)
