New PIP videos
DWP have put some videos on youtube giving basic information about PIP - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQBDlUehuvY&t=0s&list=PLeysxjNpEPy8Y73-Ywm7OeAGjFc1Xc-It&index=1
Had a look at the one about the face to face assessment in case it seemed worth looking at in some PIP training I’m doing tomorrow.
It isn’t.. Turgid I think is the politest word I can find to describe it. Although it is interesting to hear the DWP’s take on what an assessment should be like.
There’s a lot of PIP stuff on YouTube, some from charities and support organisations which is really quite good.
nidirect have added links to what look like the same videos along with BSL and Irish Sign language versions

We produced a couple of videos about the PIP appeal process and have had positive feedback with client’s who wish to see what might happen in a typical appeal in addition to being advised what to expect. It is from an unrepresented appellant’s perspective but with recommendations to seek advice/representation if possible.
