Out of date CA guidance notes

The current Carers Allowance guidance notes, available here and also sent out with claim packs, is dated 9/15. We’ve seen someone who delayed making a claim because he wrongly thought he was just over the earnings limit, when he read:

You cannot get Carer’s Allowance if:
- you earn more than £110 a week
...

Is there a recognised way to escalate as a general issue that the DS700 needs to be withdrawn/updated?

(I note that the Northern Ireland version is up to date, but I can’t see a newer version for elsewhere in the UK)

Thanks Daphne. (for what it’s worth, I did also complete the ‘Is there anything wrong with this page?’ field on the site..)

I have just received this response via stakeholders -

Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention.

The notes are definitely out of date!

I shall liaise with our External Communications and Digital Teams to ensure that this is rectified as soon as possible on GOV.UK.

Thanks Daphne, result as guidance notes updated:

Added revised DS700 Carer’s Allowance and State Pension notes - Carer’s Allowance earnings limit is £116 a week. The Welsh versions will be updated in due course.
