UC & CTS

We are due to go full service next April. In discussions with my CT colleagues we talked about the impact of UC had on CTS claiming rates. Is anybody aware of claiming rates of CTS reducing as a result of introducing UC ? Do we need to start thinking of a take up strategy/campaign when UC is introduced ? Any replies appreciated. Apologies if the answer is obvious.

A simple idea, which might not already be in place: our LA and local JCP agreed that the jobcentre would keep a stock of CTR claim forms, to hand out to new UC claimants or enquirers.
