Also, in a speech to the NHF conference today, Caroline Nokes encourages social landlords to feed back UC communication issues to help the design of the portal -

‘… use our Strategic Landlord Forum and partnership managers to feed back issues. This allows us to make continuous improvements to the service. For instance, the Social Landlord Group is helping us in the design of a landlord portal for Universal Credit and has been involved in setting up the Trusted Partner Pilot.’

The National Housing Federation reporting further on the digital portal between social landlords and the DWP -

Over the next couple of months, the DWP will be further testing the new digital portal for social landlords. The digital portal will improve communication between social landlords and the DWP, and also speed up the verification of claims and the Alternative Payment Arrangement process, as well as reducing the administrative burden on social landlords working in full service areas.
