We have a client who receives a Mobility Supplement to his War Pension Disablement Benefits.  He does not receive a Constant Attendance Allowance.  We think he would qualify for the Daily Living component of PIP but not the Mobility component.  Is there a danger of putting his Mobility Supplement in jeopardy by making a PIP claim?  Would it be sensible just to ask the DBU to assess the Daily Living Component and not the Mobility component?  Ruth

The client in this thread https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/viewthread/9396/ was assessed for and refused PIP DL and Mob (still awaiting tribunal). His mobility supplement has continued to be paid despite the ending of his DLA, which is, I’m pretty sure, correct. No harm in asking for Daily Living only though.
