Child Tax Creidt Student Earnings?

This may be really obvious but I can’t seem to think (I’m blaming the fact that I was left in a hot car yesterday. If I were a spaniel the person responsible would likely have been arrested!) Anyway, if someone is claiming Child Tax Credit (child 19 in full-time education) and the child/student does some part-time paid work will this income impact on the parent’s CTC claim? I can’t seem to find a clear answer to this.

Thank you.

Children’s income is ignored - see CPAG pg 1433 (I know they’re 19 but they’re still a qualifying young person and it’s the same)
