mexican , any entitlement

any ideas please, Mexican client, female married to UK national, separated, no children, Mexican has no income or job, will she be entitled to any benefits, believe to have to Ni contributions

In the absence of any apparent EEA connections, her entitlement depends on her immigration status under UK national law.  Broadly speaking, the right to be in the UK does not just happen through economic circumstances etc, it has to be positively conferred upon you by the Home Office.

Need to see her immigration card/passport sticker which will show whether she has current leave to enter/remain without any reference to not claiming public funds.
