I see in the draft Regs some major changes to exemptions (eg tenant will have to have at least middle rate care, a non dep under 21). However has anyone heard of figure(s) to be applied when there are deductions?

I read it as no non-dep deduction if the non-dependant gets middle or high rate care - as opposed to now when no deductions are make if it is the claimant or partner getting any rate of DLA care. The UC Regs only seem to refer to non-deps who are exempt as opposed to anything relating to the claimants.

Draft Regs Schedule 4 Para 17 (2) (b)  refers to the claimant, although there is the part at para 18 (2) referring to the non dep.
