MH LEAP review delays: is there a queue?

CPAG are seeking to establish whether DWP delay in superseding PIP awards as part of the MH LEAP review is a systemic issue.

We are specifically looking for examples to share with the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman (PHSO) of claimants who have been advised by DWP that their award will be looked at, but then no further communication or decision has been received. PHSO will then consider whether any action/investigation by them might be appropriate.

PHSO will be interested to know whether the claimant has complained to DWP, ICE, or progressed it to the PHSO via their MP and if so what, if any, response has been received. There will be no obligation for the individual to pursue a complaint with the PHSO.

We are aware of one very clear-cut case where the advice has been, in essence, ‘there is a queue’ on multiple occasions.  What are other claimants being told?
