Glasgow Welfare Rights Forum

(hope this is the best place to put this)

I used to be part of a welfare rights forum in Edinburgh - representatives from many welfare rights orgs meeting every 2 months to discuss local issues, changes to welfare law etc. Also attended by reps from the LA, DWP etc. Found it really useful.

As far as I can gather there isn’t a similar provision here in Glasgow, so I wonder if anyone would be interested in joining me in setting one up?

We have ample space in our new offices, so would be happy to host. We are based in Pollok, so possibly more appropriate for Southside specific orgs/branches, though transport links aren’t the worst (low bar in Glasgow, I know).

If anyone already runs something similar I’d be keen to take part.
