I am torn between thinking this is now a thread populated by people with dwelling occupied as the home; no right to reside or no habitual residence.

Luckily no-one can find us to remove us

Possibly, but not from the broken door. What I really need is a joiner who doesn’t charge the equivalent rate of a distinguished QC.

Make sure you ask for ID :)

Had I been awake enough I would of course have suggested that your joiner should be made to stand outside your door with a copy of Joiners Magazine just in case they did a runner.

we had one where the client wanted to add a child to the claim and uc required a photo with him and the child outside their open front door…..like he couldn’t just ‘borrow’ a child?

I cannot for the life me imagine why they keep qualifying DWP accounts decade on decade.

Do you have a street sign if you live on a boat?

It’s utterly stupid, do these people even stop and think about what they’re doing for a solitary minute?

Don’t need one, they’ll accept an insurance certificate ;)

But nonetheless have asked for a photo of the claimant touching the street sign, which reinforces Paul’s point on the stupidity of it.
