30hrs free childcare PIP & LCWRA

If one parent works and the other is unable to due to disability or sickness do they qualify for extended free funding of 30hrs?

Eligibility just states unless in receipt of IB, SDA & ESA no mention of new style ESA or lcwra

I think reg 9 here sets out the criteria, including credits for LCW (but not PIP):

Resurecting this post as 9 now states for foster carers- I cant find the relevant section for non foster carers

Reg 9 still applies to non foster carers. They’ve just added foster carers (who don’t need to be in “qualifying paid work”) too.
