Hi guys, what happens with regards to a payment of PIP when client is awarded something (standard mob) but wants more (standard daily). Would DWP pay what they have already awarded or suspend the payments until the MR is decided?
Apologies if this is a silly question but I could not find an answer.

Think they will pay what has been awarded and back date payments if needed

Someone please correct me otherwise

That’s correct. The decision already made means there is an award that will be paid until such time as a new decision replaces it (or the award ends).

Yes it just remains in payment. There is no power to suspend payment in such a case. In the rare event where the FtT decides to reduce the award (following appropriate warning), then anything paid to the appellant will be an overpayment but is unlikely to be recoverable.
