Hi all

An update on this. We have agreed a settlement for the non-financial damages (stress/injury to feelings) with SSWP.

This means the SDP only claims have been withdrawn.

For the SDP & EDP claims we are stayed until August 2025 pending the SSWP enacting ‘lawful’ regulations to provide backdated and ongoing payments to cover the financial loss.

It is not lost on us that it has already been nearly 2 years since the final judgment in TP & AR 3 and still we wait for suitable legislation to correct the breach of our clients’ human rights. An appalling state of affairs causing real hardship.

We are not yet done (we won’t rest on our laurels until we see those new regulations) but we are nearly there.

It has been a very long road since we first started and I wanted to thank all the excellent people on these forums who have supported the claims.

I am not here much these days but will be keeping an eye in.  These types of claims almost always start with clued up advisers. There will be more to come.
