The office of the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights has asked us to help in disseminating two surveys on the non-take-up of social protection benefits. The surveys seek to identify the perceived reasons why non-take-up occurs, the impact of non-take-up, and possible ways of reducing this phenomenon.

- Survey 1 is being disseminated to NGOs, CSOs, scholars, and government institutions, to assess experience with and perceptions of non-take-up;

- Survey 2 targets people who may have experienced non-take-up themselves.

There is an explanatory note for Survey 1 (organisations) and an explanatory note for Survey 2 (individuals) which also contains the links and contact details in case you require further information.

The deadline for completing both surveys is 31 October 2021.
